That's so freaking boring

My computer stopped working 109 days ago; Since then, I have gotten a new one, as well as FL Studio! The only problem? I had no clue how to use it... Until recently!

There's not much of a tutorial, and just seeing the labels for buttons took a while to find, but after several dozens of hours of videos, tinkering around, and clicking stuff, I finally figured out how to use it.

Expect a test song to be uploaded some time when I fully figure everything out, called 127>133, which MIGHT sound redundant because 133 is greater than 127 by 6, but it's supposed to mean the 127 days were greater than the 133 after.

I've never made a sad song! (Unless you count my Lavender Town piece, which, it was intended to be somber) So hopefully I don't mess it up.

(The song isn't inspired by anyone dying, I didn't lose my dream job that quickly, I didn't fall into a depressive state for 133 gosh darn days, it's just something that's been bothering me for a third of a year, and I don't wanna annoy anyone by talking about it, so I'm putting it in crappy song form!)

The 2014 Mac Mini I've been running for the last 9 years is no longer working, experiencing frequent crashes and insanely slow speeds. While trying to transfer the old files to my new computer, the system would crash, taking a combined total of 24 minutes to go from powering on to opening GarageBand.

With this much needed replacement though, comes with the fact I no longer have a reliable application to keep practicing the creation of "music" on. Till I can find a new app, I'll be making videos and programming. Farewell.

Making a track on Animal Jam had it reset when my connection went out and Scratch is awfully strange, so hopefully My Singing Monsters won't take too long, but yeah, eff that, guess it's back to messing around with GarageBand

I'm gonna try making songs on My Singing Monsters, Animal Jam: Play Wild, and Scratch till I can figure out how to make an arpeggio. See you then!

I haven't forgotten about this site, or the song just yet! I've just found it quite difficult to come up with certain segments of this track... Maybe I'll upload what I have so far and let you guys decide, but other-wise, I'm writing out more concepts and tuning some segments when I can think of what to add or change. Later!

As of me writing this comment, excluding the short time I attend schooling, the long time I spend asleep, and any brief periods of intrusive requests or moments of being ticked off by repetitive untrue statements about my own well-being, I will be working on a, get this, full length electronic track, and I'm not talking about the railroad kind.

Some of you reading this may have noticed that no audio I've published since I've made my account have spanned over 1 minute, so (idk if newgrounds says the exact date, but it's September 7th 2023 @ 12:20AM CST) I've decided after posting this comment, I'll dedicate all of my time to producing mediocre music in hopes of archiving my progression.

TL;DR: I'm actually gonna make a song that's longer than 59 seconds and nothing else.

Since I seem to get irritated often, the next track might be more industrial, and longer if it’s a common feeling, I might even finish it!

The one I had before was kind of a silly placeholder, and this one was a rough sketch, so I'll make a potentially final version. That should be pretty cool, ey?

Graphic design aside, I'm actually gonna make a song later today or tomorrow, so keep your eyes out for that, it'll probably be trance or something like that, I just really wanna use an arpeggiator with pads...
